There will be a few days of colder-than-normal temperatures, and then the area will warm up into average spring-like weather.
Freeze Warning in Alabama, Frost Advisory in Alabama
From Thursday to Friday, temperatures are expected to change by 8 to 10 degrees. A similar temperature shift of 8 to 10 degrees is expected from Friday to Saturday.
The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Freeze Warning and Frost Advisory for portions of Alabama.
I always like to pass along my mother’s sage advice, “never put away your winter clothes or plant anything until after Easter.”

A Freeze Warning is in effect for Friday, March 21, from 1 a.m. until 9 a.m. Expect sub-freezing temperatures as low as 29.
Frost Advisory
A Frost Advisory is in effect for Friday, March 21, from 1 a.m. until 9 a.m. Expect temperatures as low as 32 will result in frost formation.

Pipes should be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly to prevent freezing and possible bursting.

To find out more about how has the price of gas changed throughout the years, Stacker ran the numbers on the cost of a gallon of gasoline for each of the last 84 years. Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.
